Analysis: Florida homebuyers and sellers, 2004 vs. 2003: "ORLANDO, Fla. -- Jan. 12, 2005 -- The typical Florida homebuyer got younger and richer in 2004, according to numbers compiled for FAR. In 2003, the typical Florida buyer was 47 years old, had a median household income of $58,000 and paid $134,000 for a home. In contrast, the typical 2004 buyer was 43 years old, earned $66,100 and paid $169,000 for a home. The percentage of first-time buyers in Florida declined slightly over the year -- from 31 percent in 2003 to 29 percent in 2004. "
